I love the morning
I love the morning that special time of day collect my thoughts and hopes as I go on my way
I love the morning a precious time for me to carefully prepare for what is going to be
I love the morning feel the gentle breeze breaking the silence it rustles through the trees
I love the morning when the world is calm before evil rises no need to fear harm
I love the morning the dawning of the day thank goodness for my life I live just for today
I love the morning I see the rising sun enjoy its warmth and glow before the time I'm gone.

Further Views on the Font
Regarding the comment by Mr Brian Norris in an earlier Newsletter and Pat Ryder’s letter in last month’s issue: I believe the present font was erected in 1938 as stated in the current Church guide book and also confirmed in an earlier guide by the Revd W J Haverlock Davidson, a former vicar. I personally remember the present font being erected which (even at my great age) I would not remember had it been in 1932 as suggested by Mr Norris.
Further to Pat Ryder’s comments: The old font is not in the Museum corner, but was given to Christ Church, Walmsley and is still in use to this day. My grandson was baptised in it a few years ago. There is, however, the cover from the old font in the Museum Corner. This was beautifully restored by Mr G. Daniels, a former churchwarden.
I write this after chatting with Joan Heys and as lifelong members of Bolton Parish Church, we feel that our comments are correct.
